Disrupting Psychology

Disrupting Clinical Psychology is a brand new investigative project and podcast examining institutional and discrimination in clinical psychology; a profession that continues to be made up of those from socially privileged groups, despite decades of recognition that change is needed to ‘diversify’ the profession.

The project will examine available evidence to shine light on structural and institutional discrimination, share outstanding historical and current efforts to make change, and interrogate the ways in which discourse and other barriers have led to little change in the profession & maintained the status quo.

The project aims to move the conversation from debating whether or not there is a problem to making strides forward to meaningful structural change.
